What is a Pet Sitter?
A pet sitter provides in-home care for your pet while you're away, eliminating the stress of transporting them to a cattery. This allows your pet to remain in the comfort of their own home, ensuring they feel safe and content. Alongside feeding, playtime and companionship, I can help with small household tasks such as moving post, putting bins out, watering plants and keeping your home looking lived-in.
What does the service include?
Feeding and replenishing water
Cleaning litter trays
Cleaning up any ‘accidents’
Letting pets in/out
Daily photo updates of your pets
Grooming
Lots of fuss and attention (if required)
Plant Watering
Putting bins out
moving post
If I’m local how do I choose between pop-in visits or live-in pet sitting for cats?
For independent cats with outdoor access via a cat flap, pop-in visits are an excellent option. If your cats are used to more companionship throughout the day or need someone available to let them in/out then live-in pet sitting would be ideal.
What do I need to provide for the pet sitter?
Please ensure there's enough pet food, treats, litter, and consumables (e.g. poo bags) for the duration of your time away. If cold weather is expected, kindly set the heating to a comfortable temperature for both your pets and the pet sitter.
